Title : Vice President, Gulf Coast Operations
Location : Greater Houston area, TX.
Experience : Professional maritime background, preferably licensed Master or Chief Engineer. Prior experience in the fields of safety & quality management, emergency response, ISM Code compliance and vessel inspection strongly preferred. Candidates must have extensive experience in conducting and reporting internal/external audits. Strong report-writing skills a must.
Qualifications : Prefer maritime university undergraduate degree/diploma with professional Master or Chief Engineer license and documented sailing experience.
Responsibilities : This is a senior management position at the helm of our Houston branch office, which is responsible for the vessel inspection and training program. It involves occasional vessel attendance as well as supervision of our team of managers & support staff, who inspect vessels on a regular basis. Oversight of the audit/inspection scheduling program as well as review, editing and submission of reports to all parties is one of the primary functions.
